I was going through the stats on my You Tube channel the other day and noticed many of my viewers are in the 25 – 35 age bracket. Being 29 myself I’ve noticed a lot of rapid mindset changes happen between this crucial age gap. This is the age where big things happen. You’ve typically been out of your parents house for quite a while and have experienced a certain level of harshness along with a few negative experiences. These experiences have shaped you in unconscious ways and a lot of your day to day decisions are governed by how you’ve reacted thus far to your lot in life.
It’s also the age where you understand the world isn’t fucking around. There are consequences to your actions and nobody is here to help you. You realize you are getting older, slower, and the thought of “not making it” scares the shit out of you. This is a crucial point in time where you realize time is limited and you better get moving. You might even be disgusted by who you have allowed yourself to become. I know I was. The truth is, you can still change who you are and what you become. You can still amass a Hugh Hefner treasure trove level of riches and lifestyle if you begin today (if that’s what you want.)
So what’s your game plan?
Before I even crack into a nootropics regiment you need to figure a few things out for yourself. You see, your mind and body are like a rocket. The rocket is fueled by your daily habits of exercising, eating well, and taking nootropics. The rocket is very fast and efficient. The problem is the rocket has no idea where to go unless you plug some coordinates into the GPS system. Yes, I’m talking about goals. Get out some pen and paper and discover what you truly want. Get your brain moving and jot down ideas. Nothing is out of bounds. For me personally I’m working on creating an online source of income through a few websites and You Tube channels I own. My goal is 5k month. I also have strong family values so finding a woman who has the same values is important. I want to play with my kids well into my older years so being somewhat ripped and in top physical shape is important.
Notice that my goals are multi dimensional. Don’t just say “I want to get in shape.” You need to specify the why. Is it for your kids? For your family? Is it so girls will drool over you and guys will respect you? Even goals tied into your ego are better than goals not tied to anything. The goal is not the fuel, the why is. Your goals needs to be motivating enough to get you out of bed in the morning and drive you through the day. Without this drive you will get no work done. They should consume your entire existence.
Nootropics to blast you to glory
One day you will look back and admire how hard you worked to get to where you are. One day you will be in your own house having acquired everything you’ve ever wanted. Your wife or partner will love you, you’ll have crazy adventures together, and you will laugh heartily at how much you used to worry about money and other life issues. Today is not that day though.
Today it’s time buckle down and fuel yourself with the right nootropics for the job. Nootropics that will increase working memory, verbal fluency, and supply your soul with unlimited mental confidence needed to complete your mission.
My first recommendation if you’re new is to try a high quality source of Choline. Choline is a fundamental building block for leveraging crucial neurotransmitters tied to mental function. My recommendation is either CDP-Choline or Alpha-GPC. Read my reviews for these 2 nootropics here and here.
Choline has been an absolute game changer for many people and could be the one thing that truly ramps up your mental RPM’s.
Piracetam if you want to be quick on your toes verbally and develop a “no bullshit” attitude to smashing through to your goals. If you’ve been frustrated by brain fog, or not knowing what to say, Piracetam will blow your tits clean off and you’ll kick yourself in the ass for not using it sooner. I love Piracetam because it also stacks well with many other nootropics, especially Choline sources. In this post I go into some of the positive and sometimes strange side effects of Piracetam.
Oxiracetam, if you don’t respond to Piracetam. Oxiracetam is much more powerful than Piracetam and delivers crushing blows to brain fog and mental sluggishness. I find Oxiracetam increases my mental processing to almost limitless levels. I only take it on days where I really need a boost because I can easily go full blown manic with the amount of thoughts and creative ideas I experience. Very powerful stuff.
Phenylpiracetam, good stuff indeed. I love Phenylpiracetam because there is a strong physical component. It actually increases physical strength and endurance. Phenylpiracetam with a strong cup of caffeine is better than any pre workout powder you’ll experience. Phenylpiracetam is even a banned substance by the World Anti Doping Agency, meaning it’s illegal to use in professional sports. That’s serious stuff and attests to the powerful properties of this nootropic. This is a great nootropic especially if your goals involve getting in peak physical shape.
And last but certainly not least is Alpha Brain. This is a great option if you don’t want to buy the bulk powders but still want something that just works. In fact, Alpha Brain contains many of the nootropics I talk about on a regular basis. It’s a convenient way to kick start the “new you.”
Conclusion
Change is hard but I’ve found nootropics make changing easier. They seem to focus the mind and allow you to get long stretches of work done, whatever that may look like for you. Without focus you’re on a treadmill going nowhere. Without mental sharpness everything you do will be slow. When you understand that time is limited, you see that increasing the efficiency of your brain only makes complete sense.
Good luck with your experiments and let me know if you have any questions.
