Nootropics That Actually Work

As a member of the nootropics community I hear the far off cries of new users shouting:

“Is there a nootropic that ACTUALLY works around here?”

These newbies have purchased hundreds of dollars worth of nootropics and are FED UP with buying supplements that deliver no bang.

In this post I break the pattern. In this post I’m delivering the HARD HITTING nootropics you can actually feel.

Why aren’t these nootropics working?

There’s a number of reasons why the nootropics you are taking aren’t working. The most common reason is you aren’t sensitive enough to notice the effects. Keep in mind, taking nootropics is not like popping ecstasy at a rave. You aren’t going to start “tripping” and you aren’t going to experience anything like a fully blown LSD trip.

Many nootropics have a compounding effect (Piracetam.) You won’t feel these types of nootropics instantly like you would popping an adderall.

With that said, this post is for the less patient among you. This is a post chocked full of nootropics that deliver serious effects the day you dose, rather than weeks down the road.

Phenylpiracetam

Want a speedy nootropic that will have you grinding your teeth down to the tap roots? Do you want to feel like the incredible hulk, surging with powerful physical energy? There’s a reason this stuff is banned by most competitive sports – it just works. You can’t have players using this stuff because there’d be a significant disadvantage to the other team. I’ve got a video on Phenylpiracetam where I call it the best body building supplement. Too good to be true you say? Order some powder and test for yourself. Don’t come crying to me when you start going green.

Phenibut

Yes, the classic anti anxiety staple used and abused by both the average joe and FIENDS alike. There’s a reason nobody abuses broccoli. It doesn’t do anything. Phenibut on the other hand has thousands of reports touting the compounds significant anti anxiety effects and reported “dangers” and potential for addiction. Is Phenibut all that dangerous though? Read my post on that matter right here. Just know that Phenibut is one of these nootropics that actually works – for better or worse.

Nicotine

Nicotine is a naturally occurring pesticide produced by the tobacco plant to ward off evil buggers. In small doses it is lethal for any bug who comes into contact. For humans, it ignites the pleasure centers of the brain by flooding the system with dopamine and epinephrine. These neurotransmitters are directly responsible for focus, pleasure, and your ability to get things done while feeling good about life. Small doses of nicotine have profound nootropic effects on the mind and enhance both short term memory and psychomotor functioning. It’s been studied extensively and proven to be relatively safe in lower doses.

My administration route of choice? Nicorette Gum.

Caffeine

I bet you’re not surprised to see this one. Caffeine is the signature staple in most everyone’s morning routine. It’s the fuel that transforms one from a drooling unproductive zombie to a bright and cheery human ready and willing to shovel themselves into a cubicle and slave for hours. The best conversations have probably taken place in coffee shops among people high as hell off of caffeine’s potent effects. Indeed, just because caffeine is legal doesn’t mean it’s not a fully blown drug. It’s a powerful stimulant with significant nootropic effects. I take these caffeine capsules with 200mg of L-theanine on days I need a turbo boost.

Notable Mentions

To a certain extent, nootropics like Semax, Selank, and Tianeptine also appear to have an effect on most individuals who have experimented with these compounds. Tieneptine is an effective anti-depressant and has garnered a lot of praise in the nootropics community.

Final Thoughts

There you have it. Nootropics that ACTUALLY work. There is, of course, always the chance that even these powerful nootropics will not produce the effects you desire. If that’s the case, I suggest meditation to calm your mind. You are probably over stimulated and require A LOT of a particular substance to feel any effects. For the overstimulated, meditation can work wonders to calm the mind. From a place of calmness, nootropics can then be reintroduced and felt for their true power.
