Optimind (the premade stack from alternascript)

I tried optimind initially because the have a free 5 day sample if you pay the shipping.

I was looking for something to boost mental energy and performance at my job.
I first took 2 capsules, the recommended dose at 8am empty stomach. I also took 200mg l theanine because optimind contains 150 mg caffeine per dose. About 30 mins after the two caps I felt a slightly strong rush come over me. It was slightly motivating to do work and i felt as if that's all I should do just head down into it work. I few times I noticed I was walking fast so I know it was working.
This lasted for a good 4 hours, there wasn't really any crash or comedown just less motivation I guess. Overall it's a good product. I just don't think its worth the $36 for 15 doses (one bottle)
They also have the auto ship thing which gets annoying, I told them to not send anymore till I let them know.
After working my way through about 2 bottles I don't really get much effect from it anymore. So I'm taking a break from it for a while.

The other day I received a number of different products in the mail, one of them being a single 30mg Adderall tablet. (more on this vendor in a later review.) This post is not so much a review rather than a comparison between Adderall and common nootropics like Piracetam, Phenylpiracetam, and Modafinil.

I was stoked to try it as it's been a good while since I've taken Adderall. Most of my experience with Adderall was in high school and partially through college. Despite it being a popular drug for "studying" I mostly used it recreationally to stay up all night. Growing older I now like to see payoffs from the compounds I put into my body. If I'm going to take something like Adderall I want to be productive, get work done, and make money.

On this particular day I had a lot of things on my projects list, the perfect day to test the metal. I took the 30mg peach colored tablet around 11am and started feeling the initial effects by 11:30am.

By 12pm my brain was buzzing with that signature rush of Dopamine. I went into the kitchen to make coffee. Conversing with my roommate was much easier, normally I try to limit interactions as much as possible so I can get work done but I sat there and listened to her talk, maybe for an entire half hour. It was easy to just chill and pay attention to what was in front of me.

I sat down at the computer to get some work done and then I had a strange realization. I actually felt sedated. I was perfectly content just sitting in the chair. I pulled up an in depth article on Adderall to study how it worked in the brain. People with ADHD will generally feel much calmer on Adderall while individuals with normal functioning Dopamine systems will feel wired. (oh know, my brain don't work right!!!)

Now this was the interesting part. I sat down to write expecting the ideas to just flow out of my brain but they didn't come. I actually felt slightly dumber. I was just so chill sitting there in the chair but my brain was having a hard time processing complex pieces of information. However, I could take notes, sit in a chair, and listen to someone ramble on for hours without any irritation on my part.

Based on my studies and direct experience with Adderall, I have come to the conclusion that Adderall is effective for mindless tasks like note taking, sitting still, and paying attention. It does not however turn the brain into a supercomputer. In fact, Adderall will dampen overall creativity and limit the flow of complex ideas.

I turned to my stash of Phenylpiracetam and apologized profusely for this shameful infidelity. Here I was thinking Adderall was at the top when it comes to brain performance enhancement but I was totally wrong.

If you need to process complex information and think abstractly, Adderall is the last compound you want to take. It's good for robotic tasks. You know, the stuff that will bore you to tears but even a child could do it type stuff.

You are much better off on a Phenylpiracetam/Modafinil stack, or even a basic Piracetam + Coffee + L-Theanine stack.

Adderall is Euphoric, sure. But so is Phenibut. I would argue Phenibut and Modafinil comes very close to mimicking the effects of Adderall, lasts longer, and is much cheaper. At least with the Phenibut and Modafinil combo you can think outside of the box.

Adderall has its place but I would limit its usage only to times when your projects involve mind numbing, monotonous/repetitive tasks. If your job is mind numbing/repetitive...consider a change in career!

So recently I ordered Phenibut from Liftmode, as Fallon and many other guys said, that this one is one of the best on this planet.

Unfortunately I got a letter from the customs in which they say I get charged if I don't have the permission to receive Phenibut (it is illegal in my country which I did not know) . So the only possibility is to send the product back to Liftmode. According to Liftmode's rules (Point 15) they will not send me any money back.

I wrote to them , asking them for a special discount for my next purchase ( of course to another country) .  Let's see if they wanna keep me as a client.

I keep you all up-to-date about this issue.

Just bought Piracetam powder from nootropics depot but did not receive a measuring scoop? How do I measure the powder? I do not have a digital scale.

WOW! I've used this stack over the past few days and I think I am onto something extremely special. This combination has provided me extreme clear-headedness, laser focus, optimal energy, motivation, and verbal fluency like nothing else I've ever tried. On top of the nootropic use I have been getting very quality sleep and working out for 3 hours/day, and will continue the workout regimen throughout the work week. I am going to try this stack for as long as possible and I am extremely optimistic that I could potentially use it for a long time to extreme effectiveness, and I know that everyone is going to say that the phenylpiracetam will stop working, but I am going to use it for a month as a part of this stack & I will report back on my experience at that time. I know that this is a very large stack, but if you at least have some of those pieces please try them in cohesion with one another, and yes, essentially what I have done is added on to the Mr. Happy Stack, but we shall call this stack the Unf***ing Believable stack since I am in disbelief as to how this stack has suited me to perfection. It is stimulating, but I feel absolutely ZERO anxiety with it, and I am individual who suffers from anxiety to begin with. I should also add that I use 1500 mg. of magnesium glycinate (200 mg elemental magnesium) twice daily along and I am on a healthy plant-based diet accompanied by some eggs and a bit of organic chicken, so if your diet is bad and you do not work out, I would surely fix those issues before starting any nootropic regimen! Also, I am waiting on my Nature's Way High DHA Fish Oil to arrive tomorrow so that may improve the stack even more. If anyone has some of these nootropics on hand please go ahead & give this stack a try!

In this post I'm talking about a satellite product of the popular Nootropics company Opti Nutra. Many of you are familiar with Mind Lab Pro, probably the most widely used pre made Nootropics stack second only to maybe Alpha Brain. I've expressed my thoughts on most of these pre made stacks before...and I generally do not have good things to say about them. In my video review of Qualia I talk about how these stacks have too many ingredients and are not tailored to your specific and unique biology.

I have the same complaints with Mind Lab Pro, although I think it's still a better stack than Qualia. The company reached out to me to review Mind Lab Pro but I declined, not wanting to review something I knew would be a poorly optimized fit for me.

They reached out again this time speaking of a stripped down version of Mind Lab Pro called Mind. Opti Nutra has a satellite company called Performance Lab where they make other types of supplements, not necessarily Nootropic related.

I looked at the stripped down version and was actually impressed with the stack. It had only 4 ingredients, all of which were solid ingredients and synergistic with each other. I like to keep stacks basic, you generally do not need a ton of Nootropics to achieve decent cognitive results.

The ingredients in Mind are simple:

  • Citicoline 250mg
  • Phosphatidylserine 100mg
  • N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine 300mg
  • Maritime Pine Bark Extract 75mg
It's a very Dopamine oriented stack. Stimulating, energizing, and good focus and general well being.

The Citicoline contributes to Acetylcholine function in the brain through the Choline component. In the body, Citicoline is converted to both Choline and Uridine. Choline is a powerful memory and cognitive booster and Uridine up regulates the Dopamine system and increases the density of Dopamine receptors. If you have low Dopamine, this increases your sensitivity to the little amount you have floating around in the brain. Citicoline is a compound I recommend for Depression, brain fog, and an overall lack of zest for life. It's a game changer for some individuals and can light the brain up like a Christmas tree.

Phosphatidylserine increases the efficiency of signalling between cells and functions as an overall neuroprotective compound.

N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine is a precursor to Dopamine. Once again, this is a very Dopaminergic stack. This is something I already take on a somewhat regular basis. L Tyrosine is powerful stuff in its own right.

Maritime Pine Bark Extract increases blood flow to the brain and has a role in the production of Nitric Oxide. Good blood flow is essential for overall cognitive health.

Overall I found the stack motivating and energizing. It's probably the best pre made stack I've come across. It synergizes nicely with racetams and provides impressive effects on overall motivation and drive to focus and get stuff done.

While I cannot recommend crazy pre made stacks like Qualia, I can recommend Performance Lab Mind. I'll definetely keep a bottle around for those lazy days when I don't feel like weighing out a ton of powder. It's got a good kick for sure.

Video Review

by No1NootropicExercise at 07-13-2019, 12:12 AM
I got my hands on a couple of tablets of armodafinil and suprisingly, I was extremely disappointed after two days of experimentation. I averaged about 4-5 hours of sleep per night over the prior 5 nights to trying it so I figured it could possibly serve me extremely well, however after dosing half of a capsule to disappointment, I followed up the next day with an entire capsule to even greater disappointment. It gave me some energy, on top of a cup of coffee that is, but my brain became foggy and it definitely did not help me to focus at all as a matter of fact it even made me unfocused. I was very optimistic about this substance after having read many positive anecdotal reports on reddit, some even comparing it to adderall, which is ABSOLUTELY ABSURD! In college, 20 mg of adderall would flood my brain so heavily with dopamine that I could study for 15 hours straight then go ace a test, although I used it very sparingly since it is an absolute disgrace of a substance of which is extremely detrimental to health in the long term. I guess I will return to back my daily coffee, theanine, methylated b-complex, lions mane, fish oil, and CBD regimen along with exercise and quality sleep of course. In hindsight, these 'harder' nootropics are most likely not worth the tax on the brain anyways.

Phenylpiracetam review (Nootropics Depot)

I use phenylpiracetam about 2-3 times a week, i also stack Alcar and caffeine with it.
This is my combination

phenypiracetam   100 mg capsule
Alcar                   250-300mg
b50 complex        1 tablet
l theanine            200-300 mg
coffee                 1 cup

i will usually take this stack around 8am when i have my coffee. On occasion i will swap out the coffee with 100 mg caffeine powder. The l theanine really helps to balance out the stack, if you prefer a lot of stimulation i guess you could do less theanine. I really like the effects of phenylpiracetam even by it self. After experimenting i noticed alcar and phenyl go great together, It gives me smooth clear energy with positive mood. Depending on what i'm doing i will even be more focused.

Lately I've been having a hard time tracking down decent Kratom. Frankly, there are a lot of vendors but knowing who to trust is always a problem. Since Reddit shut down all discussion of sources there isn't a lot to point you in the right direction.

Usually if I find a Kratom vendor it's because someone I watched on YouTube made a recommendation. I think I was watching a Bret Dallas video where he mentioned High Sierra Herbals. Unfortunately YouTube quickly dished out a strike to his channel and the video was taken down. They had a problem with him linking out to the vendor in the description. Once again, the reason I created these forums was to have a place where the community can discuss whatever the hell we want without fear of repercussions.

I reached out to High Sierra Herbals to secure some samples. Jeff was kind enough to send me a lot of 1oz samples of a variety of different Kratom strains and blends, on the house. Over the next week I tested the product.

What I can say is the Kratom is good. The Green Malay in particular is especially strong and energizing. I tested out the greens and whites during the day and tested the Reds at night. Jeff sent me 2 red vein strains (Red Dragon and Red Maeng Da.) I found I responded well to the Red Maeng Da but the Red Dragon was largely ineffective. I've had very good Red Dragon from other sources leading me to believe that the names for the most part are for marketing purposes. Red Dragon you get from one source will not be the same Red Dragon you get from another. Depending on the particular batch the power can range from weak to very strong - it really depends on the batch.

I did find that the reds were much better for sleep. The greens definitely kept me up at night so in terms of the strain color, there are stark differences.

Common to all the strains is that classic opioid response in the body, the slight euphoria, and the boost in mood making any day just a little easier to get through. I don't have any pain so I use Kratom purely for recreational purposes. High Sierra Herbals delivers these classic responses although I wouldn't rate it as the strongest Kratom I've ever had. For the most part the strains were nice and mellow but effective.

I kept my dosage at 3 - 4 grams. Strong Kratom will have noticeable effects at this dosage. The weaker the Kratom the more you need to take. I've had Kratom where you need to take 6 grams to feel anything. I was pleased to see this Kratom was effective at the lower doses.

Currently High Sierra Herbals only accepts Echeck and Bitcoin for payment. This will prevent many from ever trying this good product but the nature of the business requires these types of payment systems. I recommend everyone learn Bitcoin, it's becoming the primary method I use to buy Nootropics, especially from Kratom vendors and overseas vendors like Rupharma.

Overall I can recommend the Kratom over at High Sierra Herbals. In particular, check out the Red Maeng Da and the Green Malay.

High Sierra Herbals gets the Gonootropics golden seal of approval.
