Interesting side note. The issues related to Nootropics have also affected pharmaceuticals. There has been issues concerning the quality of our medications going back decades. Katherine Eban wrote a book a few years ago titled "BOTTLE OF LIES" concerning the quality of generics and the supply chain. The government has made some changes on tracking pharmaceuticals through a newer bar coding system and there has been a move especially since COVID to manufacture more here in the US. Of course, it will have to be seen if the quality of pharmaceuticals will improve under the new system but the tracking would help in tracing issues theoretically. If the pharmaceutical industry discovers the true benefit of any nootropics there is always the risk they will also capitalize on it monetarily.
