Actually took some this morning. 2 Grams. I'm a big fan. It has calming properties but is often mistakenly compared to Caffeine because it's in Red Bull. It relates to Caffeine in similar ways L-Theanine does, toning down the jittery edge of the Caffeine - The reason Red Bull produces a different energetic experience. It's been shown to activate GABA receptors, reduce symptoms of alcohol withdrawal, and heavily concentrated in the retina of the eye. When scientists induced a chemical depression in mice they saw a massive increase in Taurine uptake suggesting it plays a role in controlling depressive symptoms.
