Bloody blepharospasms indeed. I get them as well. Seems to be most common with Etizolam but Benzodiazepines and other drugs which suppress the nervous system have been known to cause them. I've noticed similar muscle spasms across different areas of the body coming off alcohol. It's definitely some type of problem with GABA/nerve signaling and the brain attempting to restore the balance of neurotransmitters.
